Art and entertainment are found all around Town Center in the form of concerts, festivals, art shows and sculptures.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, a 17,000-seat performing arts venue and summer home of the Houston Symphony, offers an array of programming from pops to classical to opera. Popular touring groups such as Sting, The Moody Blues and the Dave Matthews Band have appeared at The Pavilion. Which is currently ranked #2 in the world in ticket sales by Pollstar Magazine.

The Woodlands’ extensive collection of art in public places – more than 50 outdoor sculptures, includes “The Woodlands Whitetails” at the Woodlands Parkway entry off I-45, “The Dreamer,” and “Rise of the Midgard Serpent” in Lake Woodlands. Annual festivals include the July 4th Red, Hot and Blue activities and Lighting of the Doves, a community tradition at the start of the holiday season. July 4th includes a massive fireworks display in The Woodlands Town Center and the Houston Symphony’s “Star-Spangled Salute,” a free concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The Wildflower Festival, Arbor Day and Earth Day events, celebrating The Woodlands’ dedication to the natural, forested environment are also annual traditions, as well as The Woodlands Waterway Art Festival, a juried art show that is held in Town Center each spring.
